Happy New Year!
New years are for new beginnings, right? Well, then, there’s no better time to update your old headshot. And if you need a little nudge, here’s a few good reasons:
1. FIRST IMPRESSIONS are key! Project the image that you want others to see. Whether on a company website, social media, or marketing material, your headshot is your first (and most important) impression. It’s your chance to say “Hi, I take my self, my job, and my future seriously.” A professional headshot shows that you care about the details.
2. Portray the BRAND IMAGE that you want people to see. Are you: professional, reliable, confident, creative, fun-loving, approachable, tough?? How do you want people to view you? Your headshot should be in line with your brand.
3. STAND OUT from the crowd. The photos you use online define you and your business. If you update your headshots regularly (at least every 2 years OR whenever you change your look) it shows that you care, and are willing to put the effort in to stay up-to-date. **This also applies to company websites!
4. Business photos are tax deductible. 😉 Make the investment in your career, your business, and your self. If your business is professional and your standards are professional, your headshots should be too.
So, whether you want a full session with many options for traditional headshots, lifestyle photos and fun, interesting, unique photos, or you have an office with 100 people that need a cohesive set of headshots for your website, we have the session option for you!
Send this info to your company marketing director and have them contact me. You’ll be happy you did! 🙂 If you are not in VA and can’t hire me, there are lots of great headshot photographers out there. Find one that fits your style and go for it!
