Studio Dance Sessions 2017 {Midlothian Child Photographer}

So, last year one of my goals was to blog every week…… well, that didn’t happen past the end of February. 🙁 So, I am trying to pick up and be better with posting. I’m starting with some adorable dancers!! It’s cold outside right now, but the studio is nice and warm!! Email me to set up a studio session!!

Rachel needed some audition photos, so she came in for a quick studio session. Here’s her classic and beautiful first arabesque.

My girl always helps me when I’m setting up for sessions. I get to test out new lighting techniques and just generally experiment. The next 2 shots are from a morning when I was setting up for a shoot and Ryann and her friend Hanna were so excited to help me ‘test my lighting’. 😉

Sweet Caroline is one bendy girl!!

For all of you competitive dancers, now is a GREAT time to get those costume pictures before your costumes get……used looking. lol

Adorable sisters.

These sisters brought their recital costumes, but anything your child likes to wear works!

Last sweetie for this post, is my little buddy Harper. I’ve been photographing Harper for years and she just gets more and more gorgeous each year!

Thanks for stopping by! Be sure to check out my website for more galleries.

Sessions I love to shoot in studio:

babies (newborn through first birthday cake smash!)

toddlers and kids (up to 3 siblings)

Email me to set up your session!

C2’s Baseball Session and Lil’s Dance Session {Midlothian Sports Photographer}

I have photographed Christopher’s sister for dance sessions the past 2 years and I just LOVE to see this family!! Mom wanted to get a collage print like the one we made for Lil’s dance photo shoot (see below) and I was SO excited to get the chance to change it up a bit and photograph this amazing ball player! Here’s what we were able to capture…

My husband kept walking by as I was editing these and saying, ‘Man, that kid has great form! He must be an amazing player!’

And here’s his final collage print. We all love how it turned out!!

So, while I’m at it….take a look at his sweet and talented sister, Lillian. We captured these in the spring at The Carillon at Byrd Park. These kids have the best, most genuine smiles! <3

And here is Lil’s collage…

Thanks so much for stopping by! Please feel free to pin, post, comment and share. I love to hear from you!
